My new ATi 5970 running Dirt 2 at 1920×1200 MAX settings in game and FORCED AAx16 and AFx16 from CCC. My Cpu is Q9450 currently @ 3.5ghz for this and 4GB G Skill DDR2 1100, Asus Maximus Formula 2 mobo and Coolermaster Realpower 1000w. BTW this is not a benchmark…I have VSYNC on so FPS is around 60FPS I dont turn it off coz I likes my screen smooooooth. It does go into double figues in the in game menu when turned of etc but its not about FPS man!!! Big shout out to HWA…..and all the Guys n Gals…the ones that are not sure.

Just bought XFX Radeon HD 5870 XT 1GB so I wanted to make a video that shows the performance of this card. The video is recorded with Fraps at 1920×1080. The settings in 3DMark06 is 1920×1080, 8x Anti-Aliasing and 16x Anisotropic Filtering. The wired thing is that I only get 19000 points with this card in 3DMark06 and with my old HD 4870 I got 17000 points. With the resolution at 1920×1080, 8x AA and 16x AF in benchmark this card outperforms my old HD 4870 with more then twice as high fps. The fps runs between 28-102 with these settings.
